ROCKFORD, Ill.- The Rockford University volleyball team returned to action today to take on Edgewood College in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference matchup. The Regents were unable to pull out a victory, falling in straight sets 25-14, 25-15, 25-13. Rockford amassed 24 kills in the match. The team consistently improved on their hitting percentage in each set increasing it by over .200 points. Defensively, Rockford has continued to improve the past two weeks, with an increase in total digs. Leading the Regents on the night were Liberty Hartman (Freeport, Ill.) with 6 kills and 7 digs. Taylor Rossi (Ingleside, Ill.) recorded a team-high 21 assists with 3 kills and 9 digs.
The Rockford University volleyball team returns to action Saturday, October 22 to take on Concordia University Wisconsin at the Seaver Center on Senior Day with a scheduled start time of 6 p.m.
