The following athletic student employment opportunities are available for those individuals who have been awarded work study money. Please note that some jobs fill more quickly than others and openings may occur at any point during the academic year.
Sports Information: Works directly with the sports information director at all home events. Jobs include helping keep official statistics, operating the video camera for streaming of events, running the scoreboard, playing music, taking action photos, announcing and other assigned duties. Applicants must be able to work nights, weekends and certain holidays. Sport knowledge is preferred but not required as training is available. Home Events: Helps run home athletic events. Responsibilities include ticket sales, concessions, security, scoreboard, retrieving balls, floor sweeping, line judging, setup, clean up, haltime promotions, team greeting and other tasks as assigned. Seaver Weight Room & Fitness Center: Supervise the weight room, fitness center and gymnasium during open hours. Other duties include making sure patrons follow rules and dress code, answer any questions that arrise and help in emergency situations. You are also responsible for wiping down equipment and making sure all weights are re-racked. Must turn in your checklist with supervisor after your shift. Team Managers: Attend practices and games. Provide managerial duties for coaches including helping setup practice, keep statistics, travel to away events, film games/practices and other duties as assigned. Athletic Training: Assist the athletic trainer in preparing for practices and home events. Basic coverage of athletic training room, help student-athletes, maintain a clean and safe environment. Contact Holli Newcomer (email@example.com) for more information.

Office Support: Provide clerical assistance for the athletic administrative assistant and work as a greeter in the athletic office. General office work includes data entry, mailings, filing, answering phones, record keeping and other duties as assigned.
